Moisture curing polyurethane adhesives cure by the absorption of moisture from the atmosphere or the materials being bonded.
The adhesive is applied to one surface only, and in very dry conditions a spray of moisture can be applied. As these products will 'foam' during the curing process, it is important that all components are held securely until curing is completed.
The moisture initiates the cure of the adhesives and once cured the adhesive film exhibits high heat, water and chemical resistance.
