GD Fast Set PU is a single part, solvent free moisture curing polyurethane adhesive.

Typical Uses

GD Fast Set PU is specially formulated to have a relatively high viscosity to reduce penetration into very porous substrates. Suitable for laminating and structural bonds to a wide variety of materials, including timber based products, hard and soft woods, galvanized steel, GRP, various plastics, glass, cork, polyurethane foams, polystyrene and mineral wood. GD Fast Set PU can be applied by roller or in bead form. By misting the glue line with clean water will increase the setting speed.

As this product foams during curing it is important that all components are held in place to prevent movement during the curing process.

This product contains isocyanate.

Application Hints

• Ensure that surfaces and clean and free of all contaminations
• Some untreated metal surfaces such as aluminum or galvanized steel may need priming
• Average coverage of about 100gsm (g/m²) is recommended
• Sufficient even pressure should be applied to the bonded area during the curing stage to ensure good adhesion. A period of 2 hours and 24 hours will be required depending on the temperature and nature of the materials to be bonded
• Allow the bond to fully cure
