CLEANER 4 is a light petroleum solvent mixture.

RECOMMENDED USE:
CLEANER 4 is classed as a mild cleaner for most surfaces. It will remove grease and other contaminants without attacking the base material and has been found particularly useful in shoe manufacturing operations, typical examples being:-

1. Cleaning polystyrene heels prior to application of the finish.
2. Cleaning leather shoe uppers prior to the spray dressing.
3. Solvent wiping thermoplastic rubber prior to halogenation.

The UK Ministry of Defence quality assurance and release document relating to CLEANER 4 is AFS 342J.
