HydraCure FR30 - Fire Rated PVA

HydraCure FR30 is a modern generation one pack self catalysing crosslinking emulsion adhesive designed for wood bonding operations, including the laminating of HPL and decorative materials to cellulosic stock panels.

The adhesive can be applied by roller coaters, knife or slot coaters applicators. Bonds MUST be made whilst the adhesive is still wet, but they may then be dried by hot or cold pressing (at temperatures above 16°C when cold pressing). Fast bonds are achieved when hot pressing, typically below 20 seconds at platen temperatures of 90°C. HydraCure FR30 is also RF curable.

When dried and cured, the glue line will give heat and moisture resistances meeting the demands of DIN 68602 D3 category.

When used in appropriate fire door construction this adhesive can survive 30-minute fire rating tests satisfactorily, but it is based on the total construction of the door and not the rating of any or all component.
