Product Description
ReactaCure BX 230 is an industrial adhesive designed to meet the demands of a wide variety of adhesives. This product has been specifically developed to offer customers a simple, versatile, sprayable adhesive without the incorporation of flammable solvents. This range of industrial adhesives has been designed utilising professionals knowledge of application techniques offering customers the total package of adhesive technology.
Applications
This product was originally designed for bonding synthetic foams and insulation materials to a variety of substrates. However due the versatility of ReactaCure BX 230 it has found many diverse applications in different industries. It is however unsuitable for bonding plasticised PVC, which will require a polyurethane adhesive grade from our industrial range.

Coverage
Between 5 and 7m²/litre depending on the porosity and uniformity of the substrates being bonded. This has been determined coating both substrates (10 – 14m²/litre of single substrate).
Substrate Preparation
All surfaces should be free of contamination by dust, grease, oils or release agents. Substrates should be checked for contamination by mould release or cutting agents. Metals should be degreased prior to bonding. Cleaning solutions, if used, must be allowed to evaporate before application of the adhesive.
Application
Our engineers have developed a complete system for accurately and reliably applying our range of industrial adhesives. The adhesive is sprayed conventionally using 1 bar material pressure and 2-4 bar atomising pressure. Water traps should be fitted to all compressed air lines to ensure a dry, clean supply of air. Alternatively we have the experience and technology to adapt existing conventional equipment to apply such products as the customer requires.
